Ennio and Phaedra started Le Marche Holiday Consortium in 2006.
Ennio is a professional Italian chef and gives cooking lessons in
his wonderful restaurant in Marche, Italy. Phaedra is Dutch and
graduated Art historian, she lives since many years in Italy and
specializes in Italian Art. Together they do Marche holiday rentals and organize Italian holiday
courses at their Italian country house

Phaedra De Zeeuw graduated from Amsterdam University in 2001. She specialized in Italian Renaissance and Baroque for her MA in the History of Art. After an internship at the Dutch Art History Institute in Florence, and after conducting research in Marche in Art History, she moved permanently to Italy. Together with her partner she started the Caravanserraglio agriturismo and organizes Art History courses and excursions. Meanwhile she gives lessons in Art History at different institutions and accompanies Art and culture trips in Italy. She is an experienced tutor and speaks fluently English and Italian. Her extensive knowledge and love of the history, art and society of Central Italy will become evident as she leads you on tours of towns and countryside.
Chef Ennio Barbieri teaches with passion and fun all about the
tradition of the Italian kitchen and the Italian wines during hands-on
cooking courses in his restaurant Caravanserraglio in Marche, Italy.
He will bring you on a exploration of the centuries old secrets
and traditions of the Italian kitchen in his spacious and professionally
equipped kitchen. As a member of the Italian Slow Food association
Ennio takes care to use local fresh produce often from his organic
kitchen garden and orchard, or from other local farms specialising
in cheeses, bread, vegetables, meat ecc.
The beautiful position of his restaurant at the property of the
Caravanserraglio Agriturismo, with ten hectares of land with olivegroves,
vineyards, organic kitchen garden and orchard, make the cooking
courses a delightful experience full of new discoveries! Ciao and
