How to reach Le Marche

By Air

The cheapest way to fly is from London to Ancona Falconara or Pescara with Ryanair. Ancona Airport has national and international flights from Rome, Milan, München, Paris etc. You can rent a car and pick it up at the Ancona Airport. Website Ancona-Airport

There're cheap flights also on Rome and Milan. The airport of Rome is about three hours driving from Le Marche.

Coming from Amsterdam, you can fly with KLM to Bologna. Website Bologna airport

By Car  

1 The fastest way to reach Italy by car is taking the route Germany-Switzerland. At the Swiss border you can pay for the motorway (ca.25,00 euro, valid for 1 year). In Italy you need to pay for the motorway tolls when you leave the motorway (Milan-Civitanova Marche ca.25,00 euro).

2 When you have arrived in Italy follow Milan and after that Bologna. From Bologna take Autostrada Adriatica A14 direction Ancona/Bari.

Coming from Rome: Take the A1 direction Perugia Foligno. After that the Strada Statale 77 of Colfiorito.

By Train

Nearest big railway stations are at Ancona and Civitanova Marche. There's a direct train connection from Milan. Look for the timetable at the website: www.trenitalia.it.  

 

Rent a Car

To be able to move freely in the area it is a must to have a car. At most airports you can directly pick up a rental car. For information and on-line bookings you can visit the websites of: AVIS , HERTZ and NATIONAL MAGGIORE.
